Welcome to Helixque . By accessing or using Helixque, you agree to these Terms and Conditions . Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Helixque.
  • By using Helixque, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Services Provided

  • Helixque offers real-time video chat, networking, and collaboration tools using WebRTC and Socket.IO.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service without prior notice.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during signup.
  • Use the platform only for lawful and professional purposes.
  • Respect other users and not engage in abusive, harassing, or harmful behavior.
  • Obtain and maintain the necessary devices, internet connection, and permissions (e.g., camera/microphone access).

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the platform for spamming, fraud, or illegal activity.
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the platform.
  • Record or distribute conversations without the other party’s consent (unless explicitly allowed by law).

4. Intellectual Property

  • All content, code, logos, and trademarks related to Helixque are owned by us or licensed to us.
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission.
  • You retain rights to your own content (profile data, chat messages), but you grant us a license to use it as needed to operate the service.

5. Privacy

Your use of Helixque is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to our collection and use of data as described there.

6. Security and Communication

  • Audio/video streams are transmitted peer-to-peer using WebRTC whenever possible.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Helixque is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Helixque and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, profits, or goodwill) arising from your use of the platform.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to your use of Helixque shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Helixque if you:

  • Violate these Terms, or
  • Engage in activity harmful to other users or the platform.

You may stop using Helixque at any time by deleting your account.

10. Third-Party Services

Helixque may use third-party services (such as TURN/STUN servers, hosting providers, or analytics). We are not responsible for their actions, terms, or policies.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hyderabad, India, unless otherwise required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, we will notify you (e.g., via the app or email). Continued use of Helixque after changes means you accept the new Terms.
